Why buy old wood for your project when new is cheaper? Wood is wood right?  My opinion is if I had the chance to buy antique wood with a story and not kill more trees that's a viable option.  I've never considered myself a tree hugger but that makes sense. With old wood you can buy a slice of history too pass onto generations next. That's cool all day long!  So hug your family, cat and dog.  Don't forget the grandparents and of course old wood.  So hug-a-way!

What is architectural salvage really?  Ever seen an old building that has architectural features that you'd love to have in your business or house?  Bingo or Uno which ever you like.  Reclaiming the old to make new is cool.  Based in little town America some 100 year old, 4ft wide historic barn becomes, re-fashioned, re-envisioned  doors of imaginative, barn sliders in your custom, new build for the special flair is cool.  Old bowling alley wood for a counter 10 years ago is a definitely weird idea, basically unheard of. However after putting our skilled, artistic savvy to it, ALL becomes honestly cool. Now... if you put that in a bottle, you've got something sweeter than Yoo-hoo!®
